Environmental charity, EMERGE 3Rs runs FareShare Greater Manchester and Give and Gain. Their work supports thousands of people across our region every year to gain access to food, employment and training and significantly help to reduce waste and carbon emissions. 

Raising £10 for FareShare Greater Manchester helps redistribute enough food for 40 meals. 

The participants from the Sustainability team are Rebecca O'Driscoll, Sourcing Lead, Joe Mountain, Sustainability Lead, Kundai Murefu, Sustainability Apprentice, and Amaya Bustos-Langton, Placement Student. 

In 2021/22, FareShare GM redistributed 2.16 million kilos of food which contributed to over 5 million meals via 276 charities, community groups and schools who use the food to support those in need.
