Marcus's Skydive For Autism

Skydive For Autism · 11 August 2016
I'm Marcus Mitchell and I'm an 18 year-old with Autism from Cornwall.
I was diagnosed with Autism in 2012 at the age of fourteen, whilst sectioned in a psychiatric unit.
After spending 4 months going through extreme difficulties with my behaviour and emotions I was finally diagnosed with Aspergers. Me and my family had years of battling with local services to find answers to what was the matter with me as I struggled with controlling my behaviour and repeatedly having meltdowns.
In the last two years I've been blogging about my autism and helping myself understand my diagnosis. I aim to create more awareness and more importantly help others in similar situations.
Blogging has changed my life and has become my most biggest passion/interest in life. It's helped me in life to be the person I am today.
I've had the most awesome opportunities to interview celebrities and open up about my daily struggles in life of living with autism.

In the past few months I've been thinking about doing something incredible for charity and ways to help raise money for autism.
As I have autism and it's very close to my heart, I want to do a skydive for charity, something way out of my comfort zone to show I stand for the Autism community and carry on to inspire others.
If I could do one thing in life, that would be to stand for the autism community and show that we can achieve anything in life.
If you could could give anything as little as £1, I would hugely appreciate your help and support.
Thank you!
