Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

During this difficult time, we feel very fortunate to have our health and to be able to exercise once a day in the great outdoors. So, on hearing of this challenge, we decided to put our manic physical activities to work for those who need a little extra help.

Hugo, unsurprisingly for those who know him, decided to walk 260m on his hands. He hopes his shoulders are up to the task, and that he doesn't go careering out into traffic along the way down the street.

Marianna has set herself a more exciting task. Unable to do a single push-up on the first day of the lockdown, she can now do sets of 5! For this challenge she will be doing 260 push-ups spread prudently throughout the day to champion her favourite cause.

We are hugely appreciative of all the work done by larger organisations at this time. However, we also feel deeply that where possible we should do our best to support local businesses and charities such as those in the city where we have spent some wonderful years, both individually and as a couple; and this is a cause which we both value greatly.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
