On 5th July 2011, our tiny twins Mia & Bryce were born prematurely at 22 weeks 3 days. Both Mia & Bryce entered our world crying & fought extremely hard to stay with us but in the hours following their birth, they sadly died while cuddling each other on my chest.  Little Mia weighed 1lb & her brother Bryce weighed a tiny 15ozs. At the hospital, Sands immediately provided knitted hats & cardigans for our tiny babies as well as ongoing bereavement support for myself and Gary. We are just so thankful for the support Sands has provided to our family.

Caitriona Donnelly is running the London Marathon on 21st April 2013, David McLeod & Ryan Wilson are running the 53 mile Scottish Highland Ultramarathon on 27th April 2013 & Corinne Bryce, Cormac Bryce, Sean Bryce, Peter Gilchrist, Danny Bohill, Jolene Ritchie, Cora McKibbin, Niamh & Grainne O'Higgins and Kathryn Prendergast  are running the Belfast Marathon on 6th May 2013.

News Update.....Aine Deasy will be completing a skydive in Dubai on 24th May 2013 to raise money for Sands.
