Nigel and I set up this JustGiving page as an alternative to the traditional Wedding Gift List. As our wedding website explained, we have been living together for some time already and therefore are not in need of the usual wedding gifts.

The Heart of Kent Hospice is where our dear sister Bernice spent her final days after a long battle with breast cancer. The care and support that Bernice received whilst there was simply amazing along with the support they provided for family members.

We decided to offer our wedding guests the option to make a donation to this wonderful charity rather than people spending money on gifts for us. This way we hope to raise money to enable the Heart of Kent Hospice to continue their amazing work.
