We will be running the Basingstoke Half Marathon in October.  We thought we would run and raise money for one of our favourite charities, Karis Kids ( http://www.kariskids.org/ ).

Karis Kids is a wonderful organisation, currently working in Uganda.  Local churches in the UK pay for the majority of the running costs so any money donated can go straight where it is needed (Food, Medicine and Education).  This charity is close to our hearts as we sponsor a family in Uganda. 

For a relatively small monthly donation we have seen a family transformed.  They write to us and send us pictures and we can see the progress the children have made by being in constant education.  The main objective of the charity is to rehouse orphans into a loving family and provide them with food, education and any medicine they need .  Please help in any way you can.
