We have several dear friends who suffer from Coeliac disease - this is our chance to support them.
Coeliac disease is a genetic autoimmune disease caused by gluten intolerance. It is believed that at least 1 in 100 people in the UK suffer from it - many without knowing! Maybe some of your friends and family are affected. Diagnosis can occur at any time in life, but often occurs in middle age ...
Please help us raise money for this very worthy cause, which does not receive any government funding. Just £15 will provide welcome packs to three newly diagnosed suffers and help them improve their quality of life as they move to a gluten free diet. Please give what ever you can afford - it will make a real difference to people’s lives.
We are both running the Royal Parks Half Marathon and hoping to beat our 2011 Reading time and have been training hard - hopefully hard enough ...! Watch this space
