Story

So I’m a sucker for punishment and after running my very first half marathon in 2019 I’m pushing myself to do it again!

I know it isn’t a ‘proper’ full marathon and only a half, but I have only been doing this running lark 3 years and turned 50 this years so give me a little credit if you can.

I want to raise money for MacMillan cancer and honour my long departed and beautiful mum Pat, taken from us before her time by cancer when I was a mere teenager.

Almost Everyone of you knows someone who has been affected by cancer, so any money I can raise to try and help support and care for someone suffering with cancer will be a great thing to do - so let’s raise some cash!

Macmillan Cancer Support is here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. So whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right right there with you.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
