Inspiring over 7000 young people from across the UK to build their brighter futures.

Story

Brathay Trust has given me the great honour of taking part in the Brathay 10in10 2015. 10 marathons over 10 consecutive days around Windermere in the Lake District. That’s 262 hilly miles in total, approximately London to Newcastle-upon-Tyne. On foot. Yikes!

Since I found out about the Brathay 10in10 I’ve been inspired by the heroic efforts of the past runners, and amazed at the pain they push through in order to help this fantastic charity. It’s time I did whatever I can to help raise the funds they need to continue their work. Brathay works with many of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to help them develop the skills, confidence and motivation to make positive choices in their lives.

I’m under no illusions and know this is going to be very tough, and very painful. I’d be grateful for any support you can give me to push me on through the months of training I have ahead of me. It’s going to be hard work, cold and extremely wet for a lot of the time….I live in Scotland!

Thank you for your support - every £1 raised will make a huge difference.
