Not only did I finish the Berlin marathon in 4 hours, 37 minutes and 28 seconds, but you have helped me raise well over my target figure of £1000 for the Army Benevolent Fund.

I had a great time running the marathon - the atmosphere was fantastic and with 1 million spectators cheering you on, somehow the pain in your legs doesn't seem to matter quite so much! 1. I work on a daily basis with the Armed Forces, and right now have a number of friends and colleagues who are in operational areas.

2. I commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in July as a TA Officer, and this is now my chance to put something back.
