Story

Dear Sponsor,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
In April 2007, I will be embarking on a 3000 mile solo-run from Los Angeles to New York.  If successful, I believe I will be the first British runner to complete the run unaided.

I am hoping to raise £10 000 for Thames Hospicecare (formerly Paul Bevan Hospice & Thames Valley Hospice) that provides the best possible care for those who require its services free of charge.

I would like to especially thank my family and employer, the Veterinary Medicines Directorate, for supporting my efforts and granting the leave to make the run a possibility.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Thames Hospicecare will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.

Best Wishes

Martin
