Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

for those of you who know me doing the London to Paris cycle has been a goal of mine for some time now.  Cycling started out as a bit of fun with some friends and has turned into a passion for me.  I love being on my bike and doing this challenge is a great way of me doing something worthwhile for a cause that I strongly believe in.

I started raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) after my father passed away in March 2012.  I did so as this was a charity that he had been a fund raiser for in the past and ran the London Marathon for their cause. im hoping that my fundraising will not only raise money for the charity but also raise awareness of SADS Sudden Cardiac Death & Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.
