Thank you for bothering to log on and a ha ....you poor sods...you have been got!!

Overcome by temporary insanity and a realisation of how lucky we are...I am..I have decided in my not so infinite wisdom to run a half marathon.  I know, I know I should know better!

I have decided to run for CAFOD...hmm please try and restrict your jests to a bear minimum if you can...I shall not name names ...but if you can take out the "C" part it is  a fantastically good charity which aims to deal with the crippling poverty and terrible conditions faced by so many people in the developing world.

I completely appreciate that with the "real" marathon and a summer full of events that the pockets and one's humour may be a bit low come October...but anyway here goes..if you can spare anything at all it would be gratefully appreciated. I completely understand that you will be getting inundated with this sort of thing and that you will have given to many others, so apologies and thanks.
