Story
As part of the Master Cutler's Challenge 2012, Ed Norris and Garry Curtis will play 100 holes of golf in 24 hours to help raise money for Cavendish Cancer Care.
Having raised in excess of £500,000 for local charities, the Master Cutler's Challenge is now one of the largest annual fundraising events in Sheffield. It requires local companies, schools and colleges to put their innovative and entrepreneurial skills to the test in order to maximise an initial £50 investment.
As part of this challenge, Ed and Garry have decided to put their bodies on the line and limited golfing abilities to the test and complete 100 holes of golf in 24 hours at Stocksbridge Golf Club on 27th July 2012.
No buggies. No caddies. Just physical strength (and a lack of common sense).
We are hoping to raise in excess of £1,000 through sponsorship and our very own spin-off competition, The Master Cutlers Cup (see attached flyer for details), and with your help we can smash this goal!
If you would like to show your support and sponsor us, please spare whatever cash you can and donate now. It really will help a worthwhile cause.
Alternatively, if you would like to take part in the 18 hole Master Cutlers Cup, please do not hesitate to contact Ed or Garry via the details on the attached flyer.
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails.
