Leaving Home on Monday 30th September 2019, AWP  Chief Operating Officer - Mathew Page and Deputy Director of Nursing - Alan Metherall are cycling to Barcelona in aid of the Headlight charity.

Both Mathew and Alan are mental health nurses who have worked in these services throughout their careers.

11 years ago they cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats raising money and promoting the Star Wards Mental Health Charity. This time, older, wiser and  with a few more years experience in the saddle they are heading south, they'll be riding over 900 miles and tackling one of the toughest challenges in cycling - crossing the Pyrenees into Spain.
