Just a little background on why I chose to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC).  I was born in Maidstone in 1966 and it was soon discovered that I had a Tracheal Esophageal Fistula and Esophageal Atresia, basically meaning that anything I swallowed went toward my lungs and I choked.  I was rushed to Great Ormond's Street Hospital and operated on at a day old but the prognosis was not good and I was given less than a 50/50 chance of survival.  My 41+ years are a testament to the skill of the surgeon and the post-operative care that I received on that day and for years afterwards; something that I am most grateful for. 

Now as a parent myself of 3 great kids (4 including my stepson) I appreciate their health and happiness every day, despite the odd 'crazy' moment and I would like to give something back to the hospital that made it all possible.  Whatever you can afford will be most appreciated by me and the kids and their family's, whose lives will be so much better because of your generosity.  Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
