Remembering Matthew

On the 17th October 2020 our lives changed forever as we lost Matthew to depression. There are no words to express how heartbroken we as a family are.
It may be a surprise to many to know that Matt had been suffering with depression for a number of years. His pain and anguish became too much and he decided to take his own life.
We know this is not the answer.
Samaritans are a fantastic charity that not only provide 24/7 help at the point of crisis, but also take action to prevent the crisis.
We have been overwhelmed by the love and support of our family and friends at this time. We would ask that you may support us in making a donation in Matthew’s name.
If you are needing any support after Matthew's death, please take a look at this helpful NHS document. https://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Suicide/Documents/Help%20is%20at%20Hand.pdf
