UPDATE! The abseil went great - good weather, fantastic views and a rather natty safety helmet. Thank you very much to everyone who sponsored me - and if you haven't yet - there still time but be quick, I think this site stops taking donations a week after the event!

On the 3rd November I set off on a special mission to conquer the new BBC Scotland HQ at Pacific Quay in Glasgow - to raise a load of cash for a great charity - BBC Children in Need.

Here's hoping I can overcome my fear of weegies (I almost did) as I'm strapped in and descend, erm, lots of feet to the banks of the Clyde (yes it was lots). Hopefully not dressed as Pudsey...but you never know. (I wasn't).

So please donate what you can afford and every penny will go to the big yellow bear, who I'm told forwards it to Children in Need, and definately does not spend it on honey and bandanas.
