Story
Some of you may know that my friend René committed suicide in January of this year. He was a compassionate, giving, and fiercely intelligent person with a truly wicked sense of humour. We started this year at Imperial together and spent far too many an early morning cycling to and from our boathouse down in Putney...so in his memory I have signed up to cycle the Ride100 | London.
To motivate me and to spread awareness, please support this fundraising page in René's name for Mind - a charity that won't give up until everyone experiencing mental health problems receive the support and respect they deserve; particularly helping to prevent male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.
I'd really appreciate it if you are able to donate as little or as much as you can to this worthwhile cause to help spread awareness and fund life-saving support for our friends, family and loved ones battling against the isolation and difficulties depression brings.
Thank you in advance.
