Story

This seemed like a good idea at the time...

In a spirit of competitiveness slash bravado, myself and a couple of my friends are running the Brighton Marathon for charities close to our hearts. I wouldn't say any of us is relishing the prospect of completing the 26.2 mile course, and in fact one of us was dreading it so much, his shin muscles started ripping themselves to pieces...

For the three of us that have survived the grueling winter training runs, we have but two weeks to get our act together, our sponsorship sorted and do our charities proud. I'm collecting for St Wilfred's Hospice in Eastbourne who provided my grand-dad with the best care in his final weeks. Here's hoping I do them proud on April 14th and avoid falling over someone else's feet at the starting line.

Any support you can give will be most appreciated, and if anyone wants an update on how the training's going, you should be able to tell by the exaggeration of my limp.

Many thanks,

Max
