MAY DAY JAILBREAK

MAY DAY JAILBREAK · 2 May 2015
Hello Everyone,
So myself and a group of super cool people that i work with have decided to organize and compete in a Jailbreak event on May Day weekend to raise money for Shelter. For anyone that doesn't know what a Jailbreak is, basically this is how it goes. A selection of teams all start in one location, then have 36 hours to get as far away from that location as possible without spending any of their own money. This means that any money spent needs to be raised along the way, and teams need to spruce up on their blagging skills! The winning team will be the team that makes it the furthest away from the starting point in the allotted time.
Our Jailbreak will take place Saturday 2nd May 2015 at 10am to Sunday 3rd May at 10pm. The starting point will be Welwyn Garden City train station, so anyone who can come along and see the teams off would be amazing! Teams will be making regular updates via social media as to their location through the duration of the weekend so you can follow all their progress. As well as this, each team will be in competition to raise the most money on the lead up to the challenge, so when donating please ensure you state which team you are donating for.
The Teams are as follows:
Team Bonnie & Clyde - Anya and Calum
Team Hearty Italian - Pete and Gina
Team Jail Breaking Bad - Matt and Jamie
The Jailbreak event will put all the teams into situations that they typically don't have to face, the struggle of not being able to go anywhere or have anywhere to sleep without any money in their pocket. It's a real mental and physical challenge, but i have no doubt it will also be an amazing eye opening experience for many of us.
Thanks for your support, and lets raise a huge amount of money for an amazing charity! As we say in our office, targets are just a minimum so i want to go well over ours!
