As you all know Eyes Alight is a charity close to McFly as Izzy, Harry's wife and her family created it inspired by her brother Rupert who suffers a brain injury as a result of a car accident.

This fan project is a great way to help people whit brain injuries and I'm sure mcfly would be proud to see their fans caring about something like this.

"Eyes Alight is totally inspired by my brother Rupert who suffered a serious brain injury as a result of a car accident. Rupert's story is just one of so many stories about people who, sadly, are going through long term brain injury rehabilitation. After talking to other service users at Kent House, I learned that there were things that would make a big difference to their lives. For example, laptops to help them keep in touch with their family and friends, developing a sensory garden for everyone to enjoy and providing music therapy sessions which are both fun and an aid to rehabilitation. By supporting the Eyes Alight Appeal, together we can make brain injury rehabilitation a little bit brighter."

Going forward, we want to raise money to provide additional items that will help communication such as iPads, iPhones and smart TVs. We also promote fitness and many of those we support have said that they would like green gyms and Wiis with fitness additions and to continue with group music therapy.
