Brain Tumour UK has merged with The Brain Tumour Charity to become the UK's largest dedicated brain tumour charity. We fund research and offer support and information to those affected whilst raising awareness and influencing policy.

Story

Thanks for visiting the Jetta Junior & Jetta Senior, West Highland Way fundraising page! The West Highland Way is a 95 mile trek from Milngavie, just outside Glasgow, to Fort William in the Highlands and boasts some of the most dramatic scenery in Scotland. A group of us will be hiking this famous trail over 7 days from 9th to the 16th May 09 to raise money for Brain Tumour UK. We are raising money in memory of our much loved husband, father, friend and fellow hiker Quintin, who died unexpectedly last year from a malignant brain tumour. Over the last few months we have been in close contact with Brain Tumour UK and have seen the fantastic work they are doing and the overwhelming impact this has on patients and families affected by a brain tumour. We as a family very much want to continue our support for this charity which is dedicated to funding a programme of research, support, education and awareness. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us for this event: Brain Tumour UK gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
