Story
I've been running the half marathon for the past 8 years and this year was lucky enough to get a place in the London Marathon running for JDRF. JDRF raises money towards finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes which my daughter Scarlett was diagnosed with age 2. She has her finger pricked for blood at least 6 times a day, which in the time since she was diagnosed is a least 8760 times!! along with that she endures regular canular changes, hospital check ups and high and low blood sugar episodes that can leave her feeling sick, dizzy and confused. Scarlett is a bright, funny, clever, kind, loving beautiful girl of who I couldnt be any prouder of and she copes amazingly well. My one hope is that one day she won't have to. So for her and the estimated 29,000 children in the UK living with Type 1 diabetes JDRF offers hope that one day a cure will be found. So please donate, give whatever you can, every penny is a step closer so finding that cure.
Thanks for Reading big love Medhi, Scarlett, Hazel and Mad Max xxx
