WE HAVE DONE IT! A big congratulations to Ruth, Lucy, Rosie, Luke, Toby, Suzy, Jo, Butterfly Jo(!) and Sophie for completing the Asics Fleet Half Marathon to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, in memory of Melissa Anne Godfrey.
The Cystic Fibrosis runners also won the Team Charity award!
Thank you to everyone who supported us both before and during the race, the cheering was much appreciated!
Melissa sadly lost her lifelong fight against Cystic Fibrosis on Friday 28th November 2008, age 21.
Whilst Melissa was in hospital in October her friends asked her to set us a challenge as a way to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.
She told us to do a Half Marathon, mainly because she wanted to see us having to run!
So please sponsor us anything you can to help fight Cystic Fibrosis and prevent others having to suffer as Melissa did.WE HAVE DONE IT!
