We support the wellbeing of Dads through family separation with one-to-one mentoring, helping them to achieve a positive ongoing relationship with their children, reducing parental conflict and improving co-parenting relationships. We support male-victims of Domestic Abuse in Kent and Medway.

Story

This project is about creating an abundance of love, connection and aliveness in our communities.
On 29th Aug, Sunday, 10 groups of 4-8 men will go on a scenic trek, to raise awareness about men’s mental health. Coaching on topics like Health, Nutrition, Career, Business and Mental Health will be available at Activity breaks within the trek. The trek will end with the groups reuniting with their families at the end and chilling to snacks, drinks & live music session before heading back home.
WHY Menumental?
The way our society is conditioned, men are not prone to sharing or being vulnerable.
If things were to continue this way, men will continue to view anxiety and depression as signs of weakness, and we will continue to lose men to alcohol, drugs, loneliness and suicide.
If we could reframe the narrative such that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness, men could become comfortable in expressing themselves or asking for help when they need it and there would be a new level of joy, aliveness and connectedness in the world.

Dads Unlimited aims to develop a foundation for dads to help them seek help and support for their mental health as a result of family breakdown. The issues which come within this spectrum are anxiety, depression, domestic abuse, loneliness, isolation, as well as self-harm/suicidal ideation. We provide wrap-around support on all of these issues, and work hard to reduce male suicide; help male victims of domestic abuse, and help reduce parental conflict / improve co-parenting.

Our mission is to improve outcomes for the children of separated parents within a healthy and positive co-parenting environment following family breakdown.

Thank you for supporting this incredibly meaningful cause and for helping us set a precedent in the fact that men & dads deserve the best support available as they do their very best to find balance in their lives.
