Hi, I’m Michael Silva – Founder of Farsight, and a proud Board Trustee member of Aberdeen Arts Centre.

On 1st June 2025, I’m taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk to raise funds for a space that’s been a creative cornerstone in our city for generations. Aberdeen Arts Centre is more than a theatre – it’s a home for expression, growth, and community.

Through youth theatre, community shows, workshops and inclusive programming, the Centre gives people of all ages and backgrounds the chance to build confidence, learn new skills, and find their voice. It’s a place where stories are shared, friendships are formed, and creativity thrives.

As someone who’s seen the impact of the Arts Centre first-hand – both personally and through friends who’ve grown through its programmes – I know how vital it is to Aberdeen’s cultural life.
