Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been lucky enough to have been accepted for a ballot place in the London Marathon 2011.  Bit further than the race for life in 2009 that started my interest in running again.

I will be running the marathon in aid of Bowel Cancer UK, a charity very close to my heart as I lost both my Grandma and Grandad to the disease.

Joining me will be my friend and neighbour, Venessa Moffat.  Over the past year we have been running together 2 - 3 times a week. Ness is a great spirit lifter when I feel I am flagging.

Ness is running in aid of St John Ambulance, another charity close to my heart as I am a member. Her link is //www.justgiving.com/venessamoffat.

All we have to do now is knuckle down to 6 months worth of training, hill running and core stability exercises.

A big thank you to everyone who sponsors me.
