Hello- we are 8 midwives; Pippa, Kathryn, Leanne, Lauren,  Lisa, Naomi, Janet and Ellie and we all work together at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.

As midwives we have witnessed the heartbreak that stillbirth and neonatal death brings. We hope that we are able to provide the best care we can to women and their families in the extremely difficult time of bereavement. SANDS charity is a huge part of achieving this and enabling parents and families to have the on-going support and counselling that they need following such a challenging time. Many people are affected by stillbirth and neonatal death and we hope you can support us to raise more funds for SANDS to enable the continuation of their amazing service.

We will be taking on a 100KM walk through the South- Coast over 2 days 31st Aug/ 1st September. Our feet will no doubt be sore and our bodies tired but the support we receive and thinking about the strength shown by the families who we have supported over the years will keep us going to the end!
