I didn't tell many people but when Harry was born he was poorly, for some unknown reason he was born with sepsis we were so luckily that the midwives in the birthing centre discovered this by the way he was breathing, he ended up in an incubater and on ventilation and a course of antibiotics for 10 days.  During the course of our stay in the NICU at Oldham we saw lots of parent that had been there months rather than days and got chatting to some of them and they talked about spoons.  Spoons do fantastic work in supporting all these people giving them a place to chat/support/funding/traveling funding and in some cases a place to stay, in times like these parent need help with the  stress that is overwhelming and this is where spoons come into there own.  They were amazing with my little girl she didn't understand what was going on with her brother, they chatted with her and gave her a pack with lots of information detailing what was happening and making it all a little bit less scary.  So I thought i would do something that would be a massive challenge for me and hopefully raise some money for an amazing charity.

Will be raising money for NICU doing Lanzarote IRONMAN in May 2020
