Story

On 19th July I will mark three years since I narrowly survived double pneumonia, endocartitis and open heart surgery. It has been a three year struggle to get back to fitness. I am marking this anniversary by walking the Two Moors Way. A 120 mile, long distance footpath from the South Coast of Devon, across Dartmoor and Exmoor to the North Coast. Wild camping along the way.

Whilst this is a personal challenge I want to take the opportunity of trying to raise money for The Clock Tower Sanctuary. A drop in centre for homeless and vulnerable young people in Brighton. At "Sanky" clients can get a hot meal, a shower, wash clothes, get advice and access the internet. The Clock Tower is entirely funded by donations with no Government funding.

I work as a volunteer at the centre and spending time there I have seen at first hand the increasing need and how valuable the service provided is and how much it is appreciated by the clients.

If you can spare a small donation it would be very much appreciated.

Mike
