Story
Our challenge is to get as far away from Durham as possible in 36 hours spending no money! We're hoping to hitch-hike and sweet-talk our way across the country and hopefully abroad, all for charity, and I am raising for one called Frontline.
Frontline are a brilliant organisation that provide for the needs of the many street children in Kampala, Uganda. I have worked with Frontline in two trips to Uganda and all the money goes straight to food, medical treatment and clothing for the children, and education and shelter for some. Frontline would love to expand their work but have no real savings so they are very dependent on external giving for their work to continue and grow. It is run, in association with Abaana and Calvary Chapel Kampala church, by a small team of sacrificial local volunteers who spend much of their week taking care of the children and taking an intrest in them, in a society where street children are largely hated and ill-treated.
Your details are safe with JustGiving and they’ll never send unwanted emails. They’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
So please donate now if you can - every little helps and would be massively appreciated! Thanks so much!
