Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Father ex Lt Commander Charlie Cantan Fleet Air Arm (dad was in the
Falklands war).
Tragically we lost dad very suddenly at the age of 60 due to randomly and very unluckily developing cancer.

Charles 'Champagne Charlie' Cantan, Sea Harrier pilot – obituary

If you search the above you can read a bit about him.

Since 1664 Yomp which is a charity yomp (walk) for the Royal Marines Association and coincidentally the Rosemary Foundation (who were the charity that looked after dad in his last days alive)

The Rosemary Foundation were truly amazing with the level of care that they provided for my father. To be able to do such a job takes a very special individual.

The team that looked after dad were absolutely amazing and took him (a very proud chap) to the end with such dignity which for many people like him is so important. I still cant believe that organisations like this one still rely on charity when they provide such an important service.

I will be forever thankful for what they did and to be able to do this for them fills me with joy.

The Yomp is taking place on the 26th of May 2018 finishing on the
27th
It is 166.4KM over the South Downs NONE STOP so will be looking to take us about 36hrs.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and donate!!!

keep an eye on the page for our training progress and the event its self!!
