Mirfield Round Table are taking part in the Charity Banger Rally Challenge from Cornwall to Salo, Italy, at the start of October 2015. 

We'll be driving on some of Europe's finest and most scenic roads...the only snag is that our car has to be cheap.  Luckily, our trusty £150 Rover 75 diesel is the perfect car for the job - built in 2002, it has just 65,000 miles on the clock, so we're sure it'll manage 2000 miles to Italy.... if we manage to get it from Cleckheaton to Mirfield in the first place!

We're raising money for Round Table Children's Wish - an excellent charity making wishes come through for children with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses.  More info on the charity can be found at www.rtcw.org.

The important point - the participants in the event are paying for all of the costs of taking part in the event (car, fuel, tolls, travel, insurance, accommodation, food etc), so every pound you donate will be donated directly to the charity.  So please give as much as you can to support the charity.
