Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
The Employment Group at Mishcon de Reya will be cycling the 12 London Bridges, from Richmond to Tower Bridge on Sunday 13 May 2007 to raise money for CTRT. For some of us, whose bottoms are strangers to a bike seat, this epic journey may well be more than a little challenging, but we will be inspired on our journey by Dina Rabinovitch, a woman who is facing a far greater challenge than many of us can imagine.
Dina is an acclaimed Guardian journalist and author of Take off Your Party Dress - When Life's Too Busy for Breast Cancer. She is also the wife of one of our very dear colleagues, Anthony Julius, and a great friend to many of us at Mishcons. Dina has been raising money for CTRT herself, with an aim of raising 1/10th of the money Mount Vernon hospital needs to set up a specialist cancer trials unit. We want to help her reach her fund raising target of £100,000. If you have any questions about how important the CTRT appeal is, you can read Dina's article in the Guardian http://lifeandhealth.guardian.co.uk/health/story/0,,2016365,00.html - you may need to paste the link into the address line of your internet page.
