The UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, we've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, we provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

Story

This Year the annual Ministry Of Defence Police Charity Event will be staged to help raise money for the Combat Stress Charity.  

During the weekend dated 14th June 2013 and the 18th June 2013 a team of Seven Novice cyclists intend to Cycle from Le Harve to Cherbourg via Caen and the D Day Beaches (200 miles) to raise money for the Combat Stress Charity. The team will be unsupported and all their kit and equipment/tents will be carried on their bikes.  

The Team: Jim Pullinger Phil Phillips Steve Beard (MDP CID/DSG Gosport) Tony Hearson (MDP CID Stafford), Tony Parton (MDP DSG Ashchurch), Duncan Goodland (Navy Legal HMS Excellent) and Steve Parslow (Ex Royal Marine).  

We know money is tight due to the current financial situation the country finds itself in however any donation, no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
