Alexandra's Arty #100forChildsi

Alex's Creative #100forChildsi · 29 August 2014
The aim of the #100forChildsi team is to tick a life's wish off our list while raising money for a cause which grants very serious life wishes for children in Uganda - like reuniting them with their families instead of sending them to orphanages.
One of the many privileges of my life is that, if I'm honest, I have enough time and space to be creative every day - but I don't always appreciate it. So, I've committed myself to a life's wish, which is to get as good as I can at drawing, sketching and painting through daily practice. For 100 days, starting on the 21st of May, I'll create one piece of artwork every day - it might be small or big, finished or unfinished, pencil, ink or paint, but it will be done. I'll publish (some of*) the results to Instagram (@mokuska) to prove it's being done.
To encourage me to stop being lazy and finally commit myself to something that might sometimes be tricky but brings much joy, I'm asking you to spare a few pennies or pounds for an organisation that does something much, much harder every day - and brings immeasurable joy to children and their families as a result.
*If it's particularly terrible, I might not show the whole thing.
