Kenya is home to the world's best, most diligent distance runners, who have been a source of amazement and inspiration to me for decades. Kenya is a beautiful place inhabited by hard working people, counting among them many rural farmers who live a life far removed from the abundance of our western home comforts.

My company, Red Badger has helped the Haller Foundation develop an app which enables Kenyan farmers to rehabilitate their land and achieve sustainable self-sufficiency. Since its launch in 2014 the app has helped many-many families, along with Haller's other projects which continue to improve life in Kenya.

At the Royal Parks Half this October, I will do my best to run as fast as I can in honour of the invaluable work Haller do, but admittedly, the money raised here will make a bigger impact.
