Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

*waves a paw* Hi everyone! I'm Alex, and I am doing my very first Movember. I'll tell you a little about my chosen charity first. Then a bit about me....

I chose Birmingham Children's Hospital. This is because of many different reasons, they do amazing work for very poorly children and their families. They are NHS funded generally, but they need our help. The research that they do, the people they help, and the staff that always go the extra mile to help every poorly child that comes through the door CANNOT BE DONE without our help!!
I have a family member that was unfortunate enough to have to have used this hospital for treatment when they were born. I want to give back something to the place that helped someone close to me.

Let me tell you a bit about me! As I said, I am Alex, this is my first Movember. (Movember is no shave November) I say its my first, its my first one because this is the first year where I have actually been able to grow any facial hair! (For those who don't know me, I am a t-guy who has just started taking hormones, so its qjuite literally the first year!) I am sooooo excited to be doing this, because I know by the end of it, I'll only have a bit of bum fluff and will probably only end up with long sideburns, but for the sake of all the little kids that need our help, its gonna be worth it!!

Dig deep, shove your hands down the back of the sofa, not have that latté from Costa tomorrow......if all of my facebook friends gave £2 each, thats nearly a grand. Come on everyone! This one is for the kids!!
