Save the Children and Morrisons have been working together since April 2011 giving thousands of disadvantaged children across the UK the chance to fulfill their potential.
So far the partnership has raised over £5million and this money, raised by Morrisons colleagues and customers, is funding Save the Children’s Families and Schools Together (FAST) programme. This innovative programme is building stronger bonds between parents, schools and communities to make sure that children get the support they need to shine at school.
In addition to continuing to support FAST in 2013, Morrisons will also raise vital funds for Save the Children’s Eat, Sleep, Learn, Play! Programme. Eat, Sleep, Learn, Play! is a UK crisis grant programme for families with young children who are struggling to provide basic essentials. With Morrisons’ support we will be able to provide thousands of children with the basics they need – like a bed so a child gets a good night’s sleep, or a cooker so a family can have a hot meal.
Every child has hopes and dreams, together we can make them come true. There are still children in the UK who need our support if they are going to have a real chance to fulfil their potential… We need your support to help us reach these children.
