Story
Mountain Movers are a pair of friends (David Goodfellow & James Hunter) both in their 20’s who have created their own version of the ‘Make a Wish Foundation’. Over the past six months, among other things, they have helped an elderly lady with a much-needed new fridge, a child with some fabulous toys and made one man's dream of going to a Wembley final come true.
Now they are sizing up for their biggest challenge yet and are going to attempt a sponsored journey round our planet, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
To make this a real challenge they will travel on goodwill and charm alone, without buying tickets for travel, and not spending anything on accommodation or food. The nature of this adventure is unique in that everything needed must be provided FREE.
Our adventures plan to keep a video diary of their international fund razing exploits so friends, family, sponsors and the public can share in the fun, as they make their way round the globe.
Our travelers are in effect hitching their way round our planet. Talks to make this into a television series are already underway. Watch this space.
The journey will be completed when then have traveled 24,902 miles and intersected the equator twice from opposite directions.

The Mountain Movers are seeking to be sponsored by the mile, (much like a sponsored run), with a goal of raising over a million pounds between them, for Great Ormond Street Hospital, while providing an adventure for our travelers, which they will never forget.
