Story

At the beginning of September 2022 I will be climbing Mount Kenya...

It's over 17,000ft (Approx. x5 the height of Snowdon!) and is regarded the toughest climb in Africa... harder than Kilimanjaro!

As much as this is a challenge for me personally, I am raising much needed funds in support of projects empowering marginalised communities in Ndhiwa and Homa Bay County.

The funds raised from the climb will help local people - some of whom I met on my visit in 2015 -  to address inequalities and social injustices within their community; injustices such as gender-based violence, child marriage and teenage pregnancies that continue to threaten the lives of vulnerable girls, while perpetuating harmful cycles of violence, poverty and inequality across the entire community.

By sponsoring me you are supporting the empowerment of girls and women, and helping to provide access to education, resources and opportunities. We are working in collaboration to build positive and lasting change!

My goal is to raise £1700, that's just 10p for every foot I have to climb! All donations would be massively appreciated ☺️
