We're pretty excited about this latest challenge, MOVEmber. It's a fitness challenge that everyone can do. You can tailor it to your own ability / schedule / level of enthusiasm. And what ever you decide to do, no matter how big or small, you will be helping to raise money for charity. Now that's a nice warm and fuzzy feeling isn't it?

What's the challenge?
Every week challenge yourself to complete a set distance;
a 5k
a 10k
a half marathon
a full marathon

You could do it one go or over the week in small chunks, and you can choose your method of travel e.g run/walk/swim/cycle  - but not bus.

If you want to participate simply decide what you want to commit to and then please send this Just Giving page to anyone you know who might sponsor you.  At the end of the month we will hopefully have a giant total and one that we can all be proud about contributing to.  

The money we raise will go to a very topical cause, protection of the elderly. Action on Elder Abuse are the only charity in the UK that work exclusively to protect, and prevent the abuse of, vulnerable older adults. We just can't imagine how heartbroken we would be if our parents or grand parents were to suffer abuse in care or in their own homes, and sadly its happening to someones relatives right now.  

So if you can't grow a moustache, if you want to look trimmer than the turkey this Christmas and if you want to do something to help protect loved ones, this is the challenge for you.
