Story

We are supporting and raising money for CHAS and Robin House in the name of former captain Ben Frost and his Daughter Mia Frost, who was born prematurely during lockdown and spent time under the wonderful care at Robin House in her early days.

As a club, we will be taking part in Movember as well as completing an 8 hour fitness challenge on Saturday 21st of November.

This is Frosty's story,

"Robin House have provided an invaluable support to our family. When we received the devastating news that it was unlikely we would be able to bring our new born daughter home from hospital, it provided a place for us to be together as a family.

Hearing the word hospice in the same sentence as your newborn daughter’s name is a moment guaranteed to sink any parents heart. Reluctantly, we agreed with the specialists that moving Mia to Robin House would be the best thing for her, however long she may be there. The wonderful staff at Robin House rendered this reluctance short lived. Welcoming, bright, and warm, Robin House soon became a home from home for our new family.

The amazing team helped us to create memories that we weren’t always keen to make at the time but which we will now treasure forever. They have supported us in ways we didn’t know we needed as well as providing Mia with the care she required.

Thankfully, we have been able to bring Mia home, something which was again made easier through the support we received with this transition.

We are loving each day we get to spend together as a family and will be forever grateful for the ongoing support we have received from CHAS."

Please dig deep and support us.
