Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit Tyla's JustGiving page.
Tyla is a very special little girl, who has been diagnosed with Achromatopsia since birth. Tyla is registered blind and only has up to 3 metres of daytime vision and wears red tinted glasses to keep the sun light from hurting her eyes and been able to help with what little sight she has.
We have decided to do the 1.5k open water swim in the mumbles in Swansea, south wales in September 2012 to raise money for 'FIGHT FOR SIGHT', which is a fantastic charity which funds eye pioneering research in the UK. Fight for Sight has become a very special charity to us, following the great work Moorfields Hospital in London does.
I'm Hoping for as much support as possible to get our fundrasing going, no little money is too small. If everyone I know just donated £1, its a start for us. Which we are then hoping to go on to achieve bigger and better things for the fantastic work they do.
If you would like to know more about Tyla and her condition, please visit her webpage at http://www.wix.com/mrskararich/acromatopsia
