Hi Guys,

I will be running both Rat Race Burghley 2015 and Tough Mudder Northampton 2015, both in May, combined totally over 30 miles of gruelling sloppy sinky smelly mud with over 220+ obstacles including fire, ice, electric shocks and just everything nasty.

I am doing this for my girlfriend Robyn, as she has been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, an autoimmune disease normally effecting the elderly, causing swollen joints which are incredibly painful limiting movement and lifestyle. This is where the bodies immune system is attacking the joints as it mistakes them for foreign bodies and causes alot of problems. It effects her everyday life with everything that involves moving.. which turns out is quite alot! Even opening a bottle somedays is a massive victory!

 I hate to see her in so much pain on such regular basis and want to try and put myself through some kind of similar hell to raise money to research treatments and fund anything that will help her as well as the 300,000 other diagnosed cases in the UK alone.
