Memory Walk 2019
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year thousands of people will walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help, to raise as much money as possible to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

Over the past 15 months, my family have lost 3 of our
beloved parents and grandparents : Ron, Marjorie and Brian. Each of them suffered with dementia in one form or another and it was heart-breaking to watch them decline.

So together with Chris and Amy, on Saturday 21st September, I will be walking 8km in their memory, to raise funds for this dreadful disease which robs people of their minds and their dignity.

If you have  found your way to this page I’d like to ask you to support us please by donating whatever you can, to help fund vital research so that future generations mightbe spared the heartache of losing their loved ones to this awful disease.

225,000 people develop dementia every year, that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money, saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Let's take on dementia together. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.
