Connie's Marathon Memory Walk 2019

London Memory Walk + Marathon · 12 October 2019 ·
If like me, your inclined to forget someone's name from time to time or to loosing track of your house keys in the morning, then you too will have some insight to how annoying it can be to have short term memory loss! This problem simply scratches the surface of what it’s like for people living with dementia. From memory loss, reasoning and judgement to challenges with communication and language - dementia can make everyday activities extremely challenging.
With around 850,000 people in the UK currently living with dementia, most people will know someone who has or is suffering with the condition.
This October myself and a few close friends will be embarking on a marathon long Memory Walk across London to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Society.
Any contribution will go a long way to supporting those people living with the condition and help to create a society that's both dementia aware and dementia friendly.
P.S. Bribery and corruption isn't above me in this instance - and so any donation will be acknowledged in the form of delicious baked goods! Just place your request in the comments section :)
