Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year thousands of people will walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help, to raise as much money as possible to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

Janet's mother Ellen died in 2008 with Alzheimer's.  Tony's mother Betty has Vascular Dementia and now needs 24 hour support.  We have watched our family suffer with this debilitating disease and hope for a world without such a cruel illness.

Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year, that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money, saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Let's take on dementia together. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.
