As some of you will already know, my AMAZING mum - Karen Tirebuck was diagnosed with early on set Alzheimer’s dementia in her mid 50’s. This has been a devastating blow for my mum and all the people that know and love her. My mum is now 61 and we are all watching this horrific disease strip her of her personality, social skills and ability to care for herself. We NEED to find a cure to ensure this won’t happen to others in the future.
My mum and the team at Tirebuck Recruitment, along with friends and family will be taking part in a memory walk in March to raise as much money and awareness as possible for the Alzheimer’s Society, who have been and continue to be a great support to us.
Any donation big or small would mean the world to us!
Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year, that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This year Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money, saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Let's take on dementia together. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.
Thank you from Team Tirebuck xxx
